Just as the title stated,
the most unplanned, last minute, really bad, wasn't suppose to be my job but then it did I don't know how, it was suppose to be someone else's job, not mine, HI-tea event. Seriously, if you were to choose staying at home watching Barney the purple Dinosaur in your underwear or my school's annual HI-tea event, you would definitely choose Barney. Alright, let's start the story shall we...
So guess the most horrible event occurred yesterday,
Saturday 31 October, the worst thing was
I woke up late, resulting me getting ready late, which then I got a
minor scolding from my very two-faced best friend and Prefect in leading.... Husna. Oh, why two face you say?? It's not the bad two-face impression, no no no. She has a... let's call it "split-personality" very very early in the morning. I won't tell much for fear of dealing with Husna no.1, I'd rather be sipping tea in the canteen with Husna no.2 than getting killed by Husna no.1. XD
So, moving on, The event started at 2pm. I arrived at 3pm
{{imagined the scolding I got}} only
to be greeted by the tall Devil, Demon. Figure out for yourself who that person is, I'm not gonna revealed his name here. In fact I just gave you a clue in that last sentence. Just joking, on the inside that guy is actually not a bad person. You guys know me,
I like to exaggerate. Anyway, let's continue. After that I was greeted by Husna and many faces that looked like they were gonna kill me with a stake. Seriously that was so scary.
Husna : Nik, asal lambat?
Me : I went to feed my cat, then overslept on the couch, when I was awaken by an anime ringtone and realized that it was pukul 2. Sorry. *smiles widely*
Husna : I see...
Me : .... ((f***, I know she's gonna kill me later))
Syafieka : NIK!!! YOU'RE FINALLY HERE!!! HUG ME
Me : .... OK!!!!
Azreen : Laparlah... Jom makan Mya
Mya : Jom!!!
Husna : Eh, I lapar juga!! Syikin, Hani Jom!!
Syikin & Hani : Ye, ye, ok
Me : Jap!!! who will take care of the registration table??
Husna : YOU!!!
ME : ..... ((SITS DOWN FOR 20 MINUTES AND WAITED FOR GUESTS TO ARRIVE.. . . . . . . . . hungry...))
Lol, serves me right I guess... That'll teach me to be more responsible once in my life.. joking. Well things went normally but we planned the games at the very last minute. Like that balloon popping game, and the musical chairs.. yeah.. that was just weird. But I liked the lucky draw game cause I actually won something. You see, I never had any lucky draw numbers until the very last minute. A minute before the lucky draw, Husna gave me the number 6. She had number 9, so she wrote on her paper "nine", then wrote on mine "six". I told her if I could take the no.9 but she wanted it so I took no.6... 3 seconds later, I won something and Husna was like "dam you.... give it back!!." and I was like no way man, it's my number!!!!!
Ah... the fun.. Oh yeah, the bad part of the Hi-Tea event, lets see now.. Ah, right, we didn't have enough tables for the event so our working gang stood up the whole time, there were almost not enough prizes and we almost mistook them for door gifts.. The food was alright.. just that it wasn't enough!!! One of my friend's slipper broke, and it was boring as hell. Well, not that boring. In the end, it was alright. Thank God that it rained after the event finished, boy was I glad. We were supposed to have an "after-party" but that got canceled.. T_T ... oh well, atleast I won't be having to do all this next year, and how happy I am when the day I'll be Form 5 comes.. hu...
SO, Moral of the story is... never ever ever ever help the other party's needs. This will result in me getting tired and sickened of organizing an event that isn't even mine to begin with.
End of story.
